  2. 1.Prepare the Printer • Ensure that your printer is powered on and ready for setup. • If the printer has a control panel, ensure it's displaying the home screen or main menu. • 2. Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi • On the Printer's Control Panel: • HP Printer with a screen: Go to the Wireless or Wi-Fi setup menu. This is often found under Settings or Network options. • Look for the option to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network (usually called Wireless Setup Wizard). • Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter your Wi-Fi password (ensure your printer is close to the router for a stable connection). • After entering the password, the printer will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network. Once connected, the printer should display a confirmation message.

  3. 3.Install the Printer Software on Your Computer • Download HP Smart or Full Feature Software: Visit the HP support website and enter your printer's model number. Download and install the latest HP Smart app or HP printer drivers for your operating system (Windows or macOS). • Using HP Smart App: • Open the HP Smart app after installation. • The app will automatically search for available printers on the same network. • Follow the prompts to add your wireless printer to the app. • Using Full Feature Software: • If you're using a computer, download the software, and during the installation process, select the wireless option when prompted to connect the printer. • The software will guide you through detecting the printer on the network and establishing the connection.
