  2. Adding a printer in Windows 8 normally means just plugging the printer into the main socket and then connecting it to your PC via a USB cable. Windows 8 should instantly detect it and proceed to install the drivers automatically. If you experience any difficulty with this procedure then follow these simple steps to rectify the issue.
