Chupacabra The creature that can’t be caught
Theories and explanations… • Plausible explanations of original event: • Pollution • "There's no goatsucker, but pollution is now so bad that it's driving ordinary animals mad, giving them the behavioral trappings of crazed alien creatures.” • Drought • Silly ideas about the origins of the Chupacabra: • Primitive aliens, or the pets of aliens on the loose. • The Devil • Government/military experiment gone wrong
So what’s the verdict? • “Chupacabras” found and DNA-tested turned out to be normal species of animals. • There is no evidence to suggest that the descriptions of the Chupacabra as extraterrestrial or reptilian are accurate. • However, Chupacabra enthusiasts dismiss the coyote-dogs and diseased raccoons as false sightings and continue to be faithful believers in the true Chupacabra. CNN or anybody else can declare the mystery solved, but the legend lives on.
