Mike, Michael, Here is the starting point. I subsequently worked up a Filter Wheel and tweaked the Solar array. Assuming you accept the Filer Wheel as-is, the following pages are the result. I updated software since the last iteration and now have some new glitches preventing Hi-rez capture and some rendering functions (Shiny Gold foil, etc) In the meantime, here is what I have.. Comments? Secondary mirror Spectroscopy focal plane Prism & focal reducer Cassegrain focus Beamsplitter Tertiary mirror Imager focal plane Primary mirror Fully articulated solar panels and antenna
Do these plots relate to the relative position limits of the Solar array and Hi-gain antenna as illustrated? ( Does this data conflict with Model as shown ? )
Before After… ..adding a Filter Wheel assembly and making minor mods to the Optics Bench

This is it for now, provided you like the Filter Wheel. Higher-resolution and fancy rendering will have to be another pass. Until then, the original graphics (.jpg) and movies (.avi) are available at: http://www-eng.lbl.gov/~lafever/JDEM/W1st-Pose-1/ The videos are also posted on Youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=41ueu-Xx-xE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiNea_V7WzI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8Hs23nsugM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6m53zHtIxE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_me6oShGnY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2No9NEGC38U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuAX39o91vM Enjoy, Robin
