IIT Ropar Recruitment 2015-2016 – RA/ SRF/ JRF Posts www.iitrpr.ac.in Application Form Applications are invited from the Indian nationals for walk-in interview for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Research Associate (RA) to work in the DST-SERB project entitled “Spin-assisted squeezing and quantum computing in cavity optomechanics” under the supervision of undersigned. The project is theoretical in nature with computational components. Candidate selected as a JRF/SRF may register for Ph.D. program according to the existing institute rules. Position: One (as JRF/SRF/RA, depending upon qualification and research experience) Duration: 3 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Essential Qualifications: For JRF: M. Sc. or equivalent degree in Physics with at least 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5/10) and valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET score. For SRF: M. Sc. or equivalent degree in Physics with at least 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5/10) and valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET score, and two years of research experience in JRF position. For RA: PhD in Physical Science Desirable Qualification: Computational programming in Fortran/C/Matlab. Emoluments: As per DST rules, commensurate to qualification and research experience. Time and Date of interview: 10 am, December 09, 2015 (Wednesday) How to Apply? Application form is given on the following sheet.
