Backgound • Participation in groups and associations • Participation in activities for the common good • Ownership of and lending practices for livestock, household equipment, and tools • Labor exchange • Availability and use of services • Sources of assistance during crises • Welfare of vulnerable individuals and families. • Problems in improving livelihood and economic activities • Borrowing and lending practices • Most forms of social capital in Cambodia were destroyed during thirty years of warfare. • Villages were forced to relocate or were split. • Community and family members were encouraged to spy and report on each other, which destroyed trust.

Both types of areas are under severe pressure from illegal logging, encroachment and economic land concessions. About 350,000 ha of protected areas have been allocated to economic land concessions in PAs, effectively reducing the total PA surface to about 2.9 million ha. Recomendations • Subjective Part • Increased salary for domestic workers (MWP)and government staff • Enforcement of real D&D and greater involvement of people • Strengthening the implementation of aid effectiveness principle • Objective Part • Portrayal of good and outstanding people (Good Model for lower levels and young generation • Strengthening Pagoda Based Network (Social Coherence) • Learn how to accept different perceptions and make analysis of different ideas and scientific data for policy formulation, development and action ( human rights and democracy)
