4. Tablet Registration Process In our ongoing efforts to streamline appointment registration and check-in process, we have implemented tablet-based registration at all CSH locations. We hope that this will upgrade your appointment registration experience and get you seen faster. Our registration staff is available to assist you if you should need help.

The portal provides an opportunity to submit questions to our pediatric specialists, all who have extensive experience in treating children with a multitude of complex medical and behavioral needs. 13. NJ Autism Registry The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services recently established an Autism Registry to help plan services for people aged 1-21 years with an autism spectrum diagnosis. Ask your physician or mental health therapist for more information.

Antibiotic Stewardship YOU can help tackle antibiotic resistance by: • Using antibiotics as directed and only when needed • Completing the full treatment course, even after you feel better • Never sharing antibiotics with others • Never using leftover prescriptions Using antibiotics unnecessarily and inappropriately can cause bacteria to develop into drug-resistant organisms. Drug resistant organisms are very difficult to kill with antibiotics. The commitment to use antibiotics appropriately and safely is known as Antibiotic Stewardship. Antimicrobial Stewardship at CSH Our Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) aims to create positive patientoutcomes and decrease/prevent antimicrobial resistance. The goals of the ASP are to optimize clinical outcomes while minimizing unintended consequences of antibiotic use and to reduce healthcare cost without adversely impacting quality of care.

16. Activity Connection The Activity Connection programs at Children’s Specialized Hospital include recreation, sports, and social activities for children and teens with special health care needs.
