How to Use the Big Question Map If you are interested in using the big question map in your Pearson Test of English Philippines Academic training, read and follow these three simple guidelines: 1. Select a topic The big question map is suitable for topics containing various critical points and supporting ideas. When choosing a topic, make sure that it consists of several headings and subheadings, as well as keywords and key phrases. List down all critical points you found in the topic. Apply a note-taking strategy to organize your notes properly. 2. Construct the big question map The big question map consists of six question boxes that are connected to a big question mark. Each question box represents the following questions: What?, Who?, Why?, How?, Where?, and When?. To guide you more, below is a sample illustration of a big question map:

Fill out the big question map When filling out the big question map, consider the following points:  Write the topic on top of the big question map.  Construct six questions (What?, Who?, Why?, How?, Where?, and When?) about the topic.
