Here’s how it works.  The page is divided into two columns. On the left side is the text that you need to read. On the right side is a question about the passage followed by several choices. Only one option is correct.  You must pick the correct choice. Left-click the button of the option you want to select.  You can change your answer by left-clicking your initial response again to deselect it or by selecting another option. 2. 1. Read the question or sentence prompt first. Remember, you don’t need to read and understand the entire text to ace this section. You just need to identify the answer. So, read the question first. Then, take note of its keywords. They’ll help you find the information you need in the passage faster. Depending on the question or prompt, the choices may be composed of words, phrases, or sentences. Assess your choices before reading the text. On the top right corner of the page is a timer indicating how much time you have left for the test. Keep an eye on it. It’ll help you manage your time effectively. Make sure you don’t spend more than 1.5 minutes on a single item. 4. Know how you’re going to be scored. The Multiple Choice Single Answer section tests your ability to understand, analyze, and assess an academic text. You’ll be graded based on whether the answer you picked is right or wrong.
