I have created a survey and asked 14 members of the class to find out who in the class likes/dislikes the television show ‘Friends’. I carried out Primary research, this is because I have collected all of the data myself rather than using data that someone has already collected (Secondary research). I have collected quantitative data in this exercise, this means that my data can be shown in chart/graph form and can be relayed as numbers as apposed to Qualitative data which expresses peoples thoughts and opinions. After my survey I have discovered that 64% of the class like my chosen television show and 36% of the class dislike it. Out of the 14 people I surveyed 10 of which were Male and the rest were Female. They were all between the ages of 16 & 20. I do not believe that this data is entirely reliable as I haven’t surveyed a large range of people, the results I have received are purely based on the opinions of College students ages 16-20.
