It is one of the holiest pilgrimages in India and consists of the four holy sites of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Yamunotri: The Char Dham Yatra by helicopter begins at the Yamuna River's source, which is situated in the Garhwal Himalayas. It is located in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district. The Yamuna shrine is located at 3,293 metres above sea level, close to the river's origin. Gangotri: Gangotri is the Char Dham Yatra's second stop. It is situated at a height of 3,048 metres in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The Gangotri temple, which is devoted to Goddess Ganga, is located there and marks the beginning of the holy river Ganges. Kedarnath: The third stop on the Char Dham Yatra is Kedarnath.
