  1. Gangotri - One of the Char Dham Yatra by Helicopter The Gangotri Yatra is regarded as one of India's most well-known pilgrimages. Gangotri, in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, is the destination for many pilgrims. The Char Dham Yatra by Helicopter includes a visit to Gangotri as one of the four holy sites. April through June and September through October are prime Yatra months for a trip to Gangotri. It's best to take your trip between these two times, when the weather is mild and pleasant.
