Beginning Beekeeping Course

Beginning Beekeeping Course Saturdays 9:00 to 4:00 PM February 8th, 2014 Warsaw Fire Station meeting room Rt 36 and Rt 60 in Warsaw Registration includes classroom sessions, a book for beginning beekeepers, a light lunch, one year membership to the Coshocton County Beekeepers, a hands on field day at a Coshocton County bee yard in April. Lead instructor is Mr. Dick Mullet, beekeeper, Past president of the Coshocton County Beekeepers, and a past Regional Representative for the Ohio State Beekeepers Association. Registration is $50.00 per person and $25.00 for each additional person from the same family household. Topics to be covered include: benefits of keeping bees, equipment and supplies needed, honeybee biology, hive management, finding and purchasing supplies, bee problems and solutions, and hands on hive assembly training.
