  7. Is it true for generalised epiemics? • Many factors, including lack of financing to collect evidence • And a lack of willingness to look for evidence • What figures are available in Africa suggest sex work is also central to epidemic dynamics

  9. Systematically collect data so we really do know the epidemic • Use Commission on Prevention to look at prevention needs outside Asia in the same way as has been done for Asia • Start rapid scale up now wherever we have the evidence.
