API testing with 2 Factor authentications, OTP and SMS Notifications Extension If you have an Opencart store and you want to send SMS like order SMS, Bulk SMS,orderstatusSMSandalsoverifycustomeratthetimeofregisterandcheckout for security purposes then Two-Factor authentication, OTP and SMS notifications extension is foryou. 2 Factor authenticationextension is developed by Purpletree Software for OpencartStore.Themainfeatureisverifyingthecustomeratthetimeofregistration and checkout. Two-Factor authentication extension provides some other, like send bulk SMS, Send order SMS to customer, Send order status SMS to customer and testing of SMS API. Testing of SMS API is very useful to check SMS API isworks well ornot. How to test SMSAPI First of all install extension with the help of the user guide. If the extension is successfully installed then go to the admin navigation menu and select Purpletree SMS > Setting. After that you will reach on setting page of Two –Factor authentication extension. Here you have selected the SMS API URL tab. You can see the SMS API URL input box here. Enter your SMS API URL with a variable and click on the Savebutton.

  2. IfyourAPIissuccessfulsavethenagaingotoPurpletreeSMSsettingpageandIfyourAPIissuccessfulsavethenagaingotoPurpletreeSMSsettingpageand select the Test SMS tab. Here you can see Mobile no. input box and SMS textinput box. IntheMobileinputboxenteryourmobilenoandintheSMStextboxenterSMS text and click on the test button. After that SMS API response show bellows thetest button.

  3. If your SMS API configuration is correct then in SMS API response status is a success like this <status>success</status>. If your SMS API configuration is not correct then in SMS API response status is an error like this<status>error</status>.
