  2. Living in Hertfordshire • 88% of Hertfordshire residents are satisfied with the area as a place to live • 78% of residents feel that they belong to their local area, including 34% who feel this very strongly

  3. Our communities • 78% of residents agree that their local area is one in which people from different ethnic backgrounds get on well together, living alongside each other with respect • 39% of residents have taken part in voluntary work of some sort in the last 12 months
