History of SARS • Began in November 2002. • Didn’t inform the World Health Organization (WHO) of the outbreak until February 2003. • Transferred from civets (cat-like mammals) to humans. • November 2002 and June 2003, people caught the virus. • No cases have been reported since 2004. • ("SARS")
Symptoms of SARS • Flu-like symptoms. • Coughing. • Fever above 38°C. • Sore throat. • Pneumonia. • ("SARS")
