  1. Facts you must know while traveling to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore Singapore lies off Malaysia's Southern tip. Hence it is very open to cross the border from Singapore to Malaysia due to the close proximity to Malaysia. The city in Malaysia across the Singapore border is Johor Bahru (JB for short) in Malaysia's Johor province. Visitors will usually cross over to JB for lodging, shopping and catching their onward transportation to places in Malaysia (such as Melaka and Kuala Lumpur). Here are some travel tips on how to get from Singapore to cross the border into Malaysia. There are two frontiers which link the two countries. Woodlands Checkpoint, the first border gate, is located near Kranji MRT station in north Singapore. This crossing of the border is among the busiest of both. You can either take a taxi or take the taxi service to reach Woodlands Checkpoint. By Air the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is situated 70 km (43 miles) south of Sepang city and is one of Asia's largest and most modern airports. The planes arrive and depart from four satellite arms which are linked via an aero train to the main terminal building. Nature and greenery are part of the airport in accordance with the idea of "airport in the forest and airport trees." The airport's natural environment is transformed into functions and activities which continue to enhance nature. The abundant forest areas will be preserved and converted into a recreational environment park. KLIA houses the country's national air carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS) that offers international and domestic connectivity to the peninsula and eastern Malaysia destinations. MAS has lowered tariffs on some domestic connections but this means you should be prepared to travel in inconvenient times.... ask for' tourist night ' tariffs.

  2. There are various airways that provide the cheapest domestic flights (the second national airline in Malaysia became the first low cost, ticketless airline in Asia). Occasionally, you can get lower Internet reservation rates. It’s already expanding flight destination, including regional ones. You can avail international point-to-point flights from its hubs at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Senai Airport, Johor Bahru in Malaysia; Bangkok International Airport in Thailand; and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia; The taxi service Singapore to Kuala Lumpur can only be collected from the Queens Street Terminal in Singapore's Bugis area. The explanation is that only taxis located at this terminal have the licenses they need to cross between the two countries. So if you try to catch a cab somewhere, they're not going to cross the border, but just drop you off at Singapore's side of the customs instead. Take note that you can take taxi service to both Malaysia and Singapore at Queens Street Terminal. The only difference is that if you take a taxi cab from Malaysia they will drop you off anywhere in JB, while a taxi cab from Singapore can drop you off at Kota Raya II Terminal in JB (near the JB city centre). If you are taking public bus, you can take the bus from Kranji MRT station to JB from Woodlands Checkpoint. There are 2 famous bus services going to JB. These are the Causeway Express (the coded yellow bus) and the Bus #170 (operated by SBS). One thing to note is that you can expect a huge crowd waiting for the bus to Malaysia during the rush hour periods and the weekends after 10:00 am. It is therefore best to skip the peak periods in case you wish to take the bus.

  3. As for the second border gate, it lies on Singapore's west side. This checkpoint is known as the Second Link and is less frequented by locals as crossing is further away from the center of the JB area. So, you have to take note of this. You can only cross this boundary by public bus from where you can enter the Jurong East Bus Interchange, located directly next to the Jurong East MRT station. Causeway Express (also a yellow-coloured bus) is the only bus running this route. These main ways mentioned above make it easy Cross border taxi service between Singapore and Malaysia. By taking note of these border crossing approaches this will help you navigate your journey through taxi serviceSingapore to Kuala Lumpur effectively.
