Nominative Pronouns • Nominative pronouns are used as subjects. • Ex: She arrived. I just arrived. (Simple subject) She and I just arrived. (Compound subject) To use correct pronouns in compound subjects, say each pronoun by itself with the verb. Incorrect: Him, her, and me will leave soon.Him will leave soon. Her will leave soon. Me will leave soon. Correct: He, she, and I will leave soon. He will leave soon. She will leave soon. I will leave soon.
