  2. How to describe the relationship between terms Example • Look at first and second terms. • Subtract first term from second term • How much are you adding to the previous term??? 8, 13, 18, 23… First term = 8 Second term = 13 13 - 8 5 Adding 5 to pervious term

  3. Finding the next three terms in the sequence Example • Find the last term of our sequence. • Fellow our description to find new last term • Repeat • Repeat 8, 13, 18, 23… Last term is 23 Adding 5 to pervious term 23 + 5 = 28 28 + 5 = 33 33 + 5 = 38
