  3. What is Play by the Rules? Play by the Rules is a website which offers free online training, information and resources for clubs and sporting organisations to ensure everyone involved in sport can do so in enjoyable, safe environments, free from discrimination or harassment.

  4. What’s on Play by the Rules? Everything you should know if you’re involved in sport. • Free online training on your legal rights and responsibilities • Information on how to respond to common issues and challenges • Interactive scenarios on a topical sport issues • Guidelines & information sheets to support sporting personnel • State specific information on discrimination and child protection • Resources in a range of formats

Who runs it? • Play by the Rules is a partnership of 19 agencies around Australia, including: • The Australian Sports Commission • Australian Human Rights Commission • All state and territory sport and recreation and anti-discrimination agencies • The Queensland Commission for Children, Young People and Child Guardian.

  7. How to use it? Complete the free online training to understand your rights and responsibilities under child protection and equal opportunity legislation.

  9. How to use it? Use PBTR short videos to explore issues and clarify policies.

  10. How to use it? Use the short PBTR interactive scenarios to explore contentious issues and clarify policies, for example ‘Overtraining or Suspicion of Harm’ and Religious Inclusion.
