  1. Give a brand new look to any surface by decorative concrete spraying Industrialisation is on the peak, and the concrete jungle is expanding with each passing day. Construction has become one indispensable part of the human civilization that no one can dissent from. Humans build to thrive, dwell and conquer. In Australia, the construction industry is the third-largest industry because of the number of people it employs and its share in the GDP. The industry generates over $360 billion revenue which produces around 9% of Australia’s GDP and has a projected annual growth rate of 2.4% in the upcoming five years. (https://nationalindustryinsights.aisc.net.au/industries/construction) In the construction industry, concrete spraying is a well-known application. The technology is increasingly becoming popular among the contractor’s day by day because of its various perks and ease of use. The technique is flexible and economic, and if you are spray painting or polishing on a surface, you are restraining the surface’s susceptibility to weather variations and keeping it like new for a considerably long time. What is sprayed concrete? Sprayed concrete or Shotcrete is mortar passed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity onto a surface, as a construction technique, first used in 1914. Sprayed concrete is also referred to as Gunite (dry mix) or Shotcrete (wet mix). In the Gunite process, the material is conveyed in a semi-dry state using compressed air. While in shotcreting the concrete mix is supplied in the wet form and is pumped to the spraying nozzle. Both methods are superior to using conventional concrete. Spraying concrete is a technique of using high-quality building materials to use instead of piling them in blocks, foams or dollops. The shotcrete has a low water/cement ratio and has higher strength with enhanced adhesion and bond strength. Reasons to use sprayed concrete There is a multitude of reasons to use sprayed concrete. For one, concrete provokes qualities like high strength, high durability and low permeability in the proposed structure. Through sprayed concrete, one can reduce the formwork while saving time and money. With a high early strength gain, shotcrete can convey material over 200 metres to the point of application. Unlike the traditional pouring method, sprayed concrete has high-speed output benefits. Shotcrete offers high volume quite rapidly and economically while giving the desired look and slip-resistant surface that you want. Shotcreting is used in a variety of projects including: Tunnel and Underground Chamber Lining

  2. Slope Stabilisation Restoration of Historical buildings Trenching stabilisation Excavation stabilisation, tunnelling and underground construction Concrete repairs, and much more. You can always get in touch with Queensland Shotcreting services and they can help you with civil, commercial, and residential concreting. From earth stabilising, underpinning, capping beams and decorative finishes to under house stabilisation and retaining walls, our team can be the one-stop solution to any of your shotcreting needs.
