Funding for TC176 Plenary Meeting in US • ISO TC176 is the "umbrella" committee, under which the ISO 9000 series of quality management standards are developed by international experts. • USTAG 176 develops the U.S. positions on ISO 9001 family of standards. • Purpose of the fund is to provide resources for the USTAG to host an international meeting of technical experts to further develop ISO 9001, ISO 9004 and other supporting standards in TC176 portfolio.

Does the U.S. government or other sources fund the TAG? • Most countries’ standards development organizations are supported by their national government. • U.S. TAG does not receive any support from the U.S. government. • TAG 176 is administered by two nonprofit organizations, ANSI and ASQ. • Funds to host the meeting come almost entirely from individual donations and corporate sponsorships.
