  1. How to Setup and Use ViewMyPayCheck

  2. ViewMyPaycheck is a website (https://paychecks.intuit.com) that makes it easy for employers to give employees only 24/7 online access to their own paycheck info.

  3. How does it work? After you sign up your company for ViewMyPaycheck, you simply run your payroll in QuickBooks Desktop and then upload the paycheck info to Intuit.

  4. Your employees have their own sign-in credentials and can see their current paycheck info as well as any prior paychecks uploaded by their employer.

  5. What are the browser or system requirements?

  6. ViewMyPaycheck works best in the following browsers: • Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 10 or later • Google Chrome • Mozilla FireFox • Apple Safari

  7. How much does ViewMyPaycheck cost? ViewMyPaycheck is included in the cost of your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription and is FREE for your employees!

  8. Can I use it for my company? Yes, if you have QuickBooks Desktop. You'll need to install the latest maintenance release . But once you do, you'll have the option of turning on ViewMyPaycheck.

  9. How to Setup ViewMyPayCheck?

  10. You must use QuickBooks Desktop, have installed the latest maintenance release and the latest payroll updates.

  11. In your QuickBooks Desktop company, click Employees > Manage Payroll Cloud Services.

  12. If you don't see the Manage Payroll Cloud Services option, you don't have the latest

  13. QuickBooks Desktop maintenance release or the latest payroll updates installed.

  14. In the Payroll Cloud Services window, click the ViewMyPaycheck checkbox.

  15. When prompted, create or confirm a PIN used to send payroll data.

  16. Click Save Changes.

  17. Click Return To QuickBooks in the confirmation window.

  18. Next time you run payroll, upload your paycheck info to Intuit when prompted.

  19. To upload paycheck info after every payroll:

  20. In your QuickBooks Desktop company file, create paychecks as you normally do.

  21. On the Confirmation and Next Steps screen, in addition to printing checks, be sure to click Send to Intuit.

  22. On the Send/Receive Data window, click Send. When prompted, enter your payroll service PIN.

  23. Employees use their existing Intuit account ID and password (if they have one) or sign up for a new account. The first time they access their paychecks, they also need to enter their Social Security number and the net amount of their most recent paycheck.

  25. Since this is your first time setting up ViewMyPaycheck, you will need to upload historical paychecks in order for your employees to view their paystubs issued prior to setting up ViewMyPaycheck. Refer to ViewMyPaycheck: Uploading historical paychecks.
