  4. This array has how many columns and how many rows? What is your statement to multiply these two numbers together? What is your answer?

  5. How many are in the column and how many are in the row? How can we multiply this together? What is your answer?

  6. How about if everyone tries to figure out the array in this image and then we will discuss our answers.

  8. How many columns? How many rows? What is the answer when you multiply these two together?

  9. AnARRAYis a pictorial way  (using rows and columns) to represent math facts. Arrays can make understanding the concept of multiplication easier especially for visual learners.
