Ready when you are • 78 in 100 male smokers say they intend to give up in the next year • 72 in 100 female smokers plan to quit • Out of 100 unplanned attempts to quit, 65 lasted for at least 6 months • 42 in 100 smokers who went through with a planned attempt, managed to quit for at least six

  4. One in 10 is a “secret smoker” • Children hiding habit from their parents • Parents hiding habit from their children • 1 in 10 employees conceal smoking from their employer • 3 out of 10 hide habit from their Doctor
