Sexual Health Facts Nationally 1 in 9 people in the UK have had a sexually transmitted infection 1 in 10 sexually active women infected with chlamydia A person is diagnosed with an STI every 15 seconds Young people aged 16-25 are at greatest risk of an STI
Sexual Health Facts Locally 400% increase in diagnosed HIV infections between 1999 and 2002 Chlamydia rates increased five times since 1995 Gonorrhoea & Syphilis rates almost three times national average in 2003 Overuse of termination services
