1 INTRODUCTION MEKSZ scope Formulation of market configuration models, parametric specification of market rules Integrate network models of the Hungarian power transmission systems Formal representation of market players behavior, simulation under different market configurations Financial models, accounting • Development of a system based on the above models which will be applicable to simulate and study complex, dynamic market scenarios. The software can be used to study energy market deregulation and train the players in liberalized enegy markets.
