2. Ceremonies • Graduates may choose to attend one or both of the following ceremonies:University Graduate Commencement:  Wednesday, December 15, 2010, 4:00 pm Wells Fargo Arena.Convocation:  Friday, December 17, 2010, 1:00 P.M.Willard H. Pedrick Great Hall • Reception immediately following at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, Rotunda

3. Regalia • Attire:  Caps, gowns, and hoods must be worn for both the Arizona State University Commencement and the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law Convocation ceremonies.  The 2007 Graduating Class established a donated cap, gown and hood scholarship fund.  These donated items will be available to all December graduates to borrow for a donation of $20.00.    Graduates may obtain new regalia from the ASU bookstore.  • The bookstore GradFair for the Tempe Campus will be held on Oct. 13-14 from 9am to 6pm and Oct. 15 from 9am-3pm. Regalia will be discounted at the GradFair.

Fees and Deadlines • February 2011 • Filing Deadlines: Fees: • August 15 to September 1, 2010 $460 (application, exam) • September 2 to September 30, 2010 $560 (includes $100 late fee) • October 1 to October 31, 2010 $660 (includes $200 late fee) • November 1 to November 30, 2010 $760 (includes $300 late fee) • Close of Filing: • November 30, 2010 for applications and supporting documents • November 30, 2010 for all accommodation documentation • February 4, 2011 for evidence of graduation (Note: only for graduates of law school in previous semester)

7. Fees and Deadlines cont. • Deadlines and Fees for July 2011 have not yet been posted on the Supreme Court site. • However in previous years the first window to apply (with the lowest fee) starts January 15 and ends around the 1st of February. You need to check their website for the exact days!

8. MPRE • The Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) is a 60-question, two-hour-and-five-minute, multiple-choice examination administered three times each year. • For more information: http://www.ncbex.org/multistate-tests/mpre/

MBE • The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) • The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) is a six-hour, 200-question multiple-choice examination covering contracts, torts, constitutional law, criminal law and procedure, evidence, and real property. • Introduction • The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) is developed by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) and is administered by participating jurisdictions on the last Wednesday in February and the last Wednesday in July of each year. Applicants should contact the jurisdiction where admission is being sought to ascertain whether the MBE is part of the jurisdiction's examination. A regularly updated list of contact information for the jurisdictions appears on the Bar Admission Offices page.   • The MBE is but one of a number of measures that a board of bar examiners may use in determining competence to practice. Each jurisdiction determines its own policy with regard to the relative weight given to the MBE and other scores. 10. MEE • The Multistate Essay Examination (MEE) is a collection of 30-minute essay questions and is administered by participating jurisdictions on the Tuesday before the last Wednesday in February and July of each year. 11. MPT • The Multistate Performance Test Some states require this practical exam, as of now AZ does not.
