Enrollment Projections • 2010 Enrollment is 570 • 2011 enrollment is 673-700 • Student Info: • 450 APP • 206 ALO, plus 11 kindergartners on the wait list • 32 Low Incidence and Medically Fragile • 33 Special Education Preschool
Planning Considerations • Education – • What size of cohort is needed? How will district ensure capacity? • Operational – • Is there space? Will the plan facilitate safety? • Logistical – • Can we get it done by start of school? • What is the transportation plan? • Financial – • What is the cost? • Parents – • How do we maximize parent satisfaction?
Current Scenarios • Stay put: Everyone at Lowell • Expand APP: • Move 4th -5th APP to Lincoln, keep 1st -3rd at Lowell • Create 3 options: South, Central, and North (Interim Site for 2011-12) • Move all Lowell APP to Lincoln
