  2. Switching from your old phone to a new one but don't want to leave your precious data behind? Now, with the help of the Coolmuster Mobile Transfer for Mac, you can selectively transfer almost all important contents, including contacts, videos, music, contacts, apps and many more between two phones safe and sound. By the way, Mobile Transfer for Mac also enables you to backup and restore your phone data. Below is how to use this handy tool:

  3. Part 1. Phone to Phone Transfer Step 1: Open Mobile Transfer for Mac and connect your devices Launch the downloaded and installed Coolmuster Mobile Transfer for Mac on your Mac machine, pick up two USB cables to connect your old and new phones to the same Mac simultaneously. Soon, you can get the primary interface of the program like following picture.

  4. Step 2: Click on "Phone to Phone Transfer" You can see three different options provided in the main interface. Just choose the first "Phone to Phone Transfer" and you will enter a new window, with your two devices and all transferrable files types listed, including Contacts, Photos, Music, Videos, Apps, eBooks, Apps, etc.

  5. Step 3: Start the phone to phone transfer selectively Mark the file types you want to transfer from the top line. For example, if you only need to copy contacts from your old phone to the new one, you can only check the Contacts option and then tick off the contacts you need. Then, click the left or right arrow to begin the contacts transfer.

  6. Once you have selected all what you want to transfer, just choose "OK" on the prompt dialog box above and the Mobile Transfer for Mac will begin the contacts transfer automatically. There will be a progress bar showing you how much data has been transferred.

  7. Part 2. Back up to Mac Step 1. Choose "Back up Your Phone" Launch the Mac tool and connect your mobile phone to the Mac. Choose the second option - Back up Your Phone. All the files on your mobile phone will be scanned and displayed here in categories.

  8. Step 2. Back up your phone to Mac Preview and choose the files you want to backup on your Mac. Then, click "Start" button on the lower right corner to begin the data transfer from your phone to Mac.

  9. Part 3. Restore from Backups Step 1. Choose "Restore from Backups" Link your device to the Mac via USB cable. Launch the Mobile Transfer for Mac and choose the third option - Restore from Backups on the primary window. Then, the backup records you have ever created by the program are showed here.

  10. Step 2. Restore selected data to your device Select the backup record you would like to recover to your phone and click Start button from the interface. After that, the selected backups will be imported to the connected device flawlessly.
