Ditto for the output or results (assign variables carefully) • d. Decide how to approach the problem; i.e., what equations would be involved. Be consistent with the earlier steps • e. Do the algebra and/or geometry first before doing the arithmetic. • f. Once you get an answer, check that the answer is consistent, makes sense, and it is what really you were asked to find; keep track of the units.
