National Testing Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting CUET across the length and breadth of the country. The admissions into various private, central and deemed universities can be done on the basis of scores obtained in the CUET Entrance Exam 2023. All the participating universities have the rights of applying an additional criteria for admissions into UG Courses other than the scores obtained in the entrance exam. Herein, the universities can allot weightage to class 12 board exam marks too especially in case of a tie, the merit list can be based on that. Based on the applications received the universities can set up merit list or define minimum marks that students must obtain in order to get admission in a particular course. Students now have the opportunity to shift from science to commerce and arts stream and from commerce to arts stream without any deduction in marks, as they have been given a choice for that. Three sections of NTA CUET UG2023 Entrance Exam includes Section I is for Language Test, Section II is for Domain Specific Subjects and Section III is for General Aptitude. In section I, out of 50 questions, 40 are to be attempted in 45 minutes. The
section I is further divided into two parts IA and IB. For both of them 45 minutes will be given to finish the exam. For section II, 27 subjects are being offered under the domain specific subjects section.
