Elsie’s House. We are going to Elsie’s house. First, we have to get gas. Elsie shows us her garden. Time to start cooking! Majidah washes her hands. Nawal and Aleja cut the chicken. Don’t forget the peas and corn!. We cook everything together in the pan. We cook the potatoes.

  9. We mash the potatoes.

  10. We pour the potatoes on top.

  11. Elsie puts it in the oven.

  12. Time to relax. Do you want tea or coffee?

  13. Elsie shows us some pictures of her family.

  14. Abadit and Abrehet help clean up. Abadit loads the dishwasher.

  15. The chicken pot pie is ready!

  16. Manyua eats some chicken pot pie.

  17. We had fun cooking at Elsie’s house!

  18. Now it’s time to drive back to school.
