  2. History • Plan turned 75 on April 5th. British journalist John Langdon Davies started plan to help children who’s lives were disrupted by Civil War. The children were sent to France where they received health care , food , clean water and clean clothes.

  3. Vision Statement • Plan’s goal is to improve the life of unfortunate children. They also strive to protect the rights of children, including to survive, develop fully, be protected by harmful influences, abuse and exploitation. In 2009 Plan started the global movement “ Because I am a girl “ and established September 22nd as the Day of the Girl.

  4. Ways to Donate • Some ways to donate are sponsoring a child, set up fundraising, invest in a Gift of Hope which is a gift that you can buy online and it will be sent to children in need some of the things you can donate are goats , mango , and clean water.

  5. Where they Work • Plan works in 50 different countries around the world including Niger, Philippines, and Ethiopia. They raise funds in Countries such as Canada, Australia, and France.

  6. Recent ways to Help • Some ways to help are build wells, support “Because I am a Girl” , sponsor a child , and fundraise.
