Eat a good breakfast. Get up on time, don’t be late • 7:30! • Bring a couple of pencils and a couple of pens (blue or black)
Multiple-choice • 80 questions, 55 minutes • Write on the test booklet • Come back to tougher questions • Use the whole time period • Should you skip questions? • Break (use the restroom, eat a snack, stretch, get mentally recharged for the essays)
Essays • 15 minute reading/brainstorming period • DON’T LOOK AT THE DOCUMENTS! • Panic • Analyze • Brainstorm • Categorize/Organize • Topic sentence and outline • Now read the documents • Write on the test booklet • Refer to the documents by author or source, not letter • Cartoons/Drawings • Do you have to use all the documents? • DBQ writing time (45 minutes recommended)
