  7. Addressing EJ in the Use of Electric Vehicles Credit enhancement through underwriting risk. Grants to encourage EV car-sharing in EJ communities. Rebates for use of e-bikes and scooters in EJ communities. Rebates in the secondary market for e-vehicles registered in communities identified by Enviroscreen tool. Improved access to charging infrastructure near multi-unit dwellings. Additional rebates for E-light duty vehicles operated in communities identified by Enviroscreen tool. Additional rebates for E-heavy duty vehicles operated in communities identified by Enviroscreen tool. Vouchers for replacement vehicles.

  8. Charge Ahead California Initiative Funding: • Bill (SB 1275) would require nine year funding plan. • Proposed state budget included up to $200 million to support electric vehicle programs.

  9. Take Away Message California is being proactive in addressing EJ and equity concerns in its electric vehicle program and addressing these concerns is a central part of program implementation!
