It’s important to develop a work plan early on. Maintaining frequent communication with participants is vital. You need to create and maintain contact lists.
Continue promoting the work through presentations. Keep in mind possible compensation needs. Alignment work is more challenging than we anticipated.
Do students in our area transition seamlessly from high school to college/university? Are our college faculty members well informed about the CCSS and its implementation? Do we have strong connections between our K-12 schools and the local colleges and universities? Would our students benefit from the use of common expectations and assessments?
