Polymeric Nanoconjugate Drug Delivery SystemJianjun Cheng, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, DMR 0748834 We developed a drug-initiated polymerization method for the incorporation of drug molecules to biodegradable polymers. The resulting polymer-drug conjugates can be used to prepare polymeric nanoconjugates drug delivery systems that have very high drug loadings, 100% loading efficiencies and controlled release profiles.
