Introduction • Complaint: God is silent! • God’s response – “Wait!” • Working it all out!
Complaint: God is Silent! • “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my just claim is passed over by my God.”
Complaint: God is Silent! • God does not see me • If he does, he passes over me
Complaint: God is Silent! • We corrupted God’s way (Ge 6.12) • Our actions got us into this mess • Course of conduct – thoughts, emotions and desires (soulish)
God’s Response – “Wait!” • God must redirect the “heart” • “Believe in your heart, confess with your mouth” – Rom 10:9
God’s Response – “Wait!” • Relearn His perspective and way • God deals with the nations (41) • He must get all his “ducks in a row”
God’s Response – “Wait!” • His “way” will get us out of it (3-5) • Time to “unravel” our entanglements
Working It All Out • God will triumph over evil • Fullness of the kingdom is coming
