STONE #1: DISCIPLINE – SCHOOL Discipline - On time to school and class. Consequence – Five tardies = admin detention. Discipline – Turn your work in on time. Consequence – 15% off daily/no credit Discipline – Do your own work without cheating or plagiarizing. Consequence – Zero on assignment & suspension

Consequence – 4 demerits = admin det Discipline – Be in dress code Consequence – Demerits & sent home Discipline – No lewd, profane, or inappropriate language. STONE #2: ATTITUDE • Do Not Ask God Why…Ask God What? • What is your attitude toward your parents, teachers and friends? • What is your attitude when you do not get your way?
STONE #2: ATTITUDE • Our ATTITUDE should be that of love! • Love - Affectionate concern for the well-being of others. • I Peter 2:22“You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.”
STONE #2: ATTITUDE • True love for one another = no gossip • True love for one another = no picking • True love for one another = no name calling • True love for one another = no bullying
CCS NO BULLYING PLEDGE We agree to do our part in preventing bullying at our school. We believe it is the equal right of everyone to enjoy CCS and to have the confidence that it is a place where all will feel safe, secure, and accepted regardless of color, race, gender, popularity, athletic ability, intelligence, religion, and nationality. Bullying can be pushing, shoving, hitting and spitting, as well as name calling, picking on, making fun of, laughing at, and excluding someone. Bullying causes pain and stress to victims and is never justified or excusable as “kids being kids,” “just teasing,” or any other rationalization. The victim is never responsible for being a target of bullying. • As a student, I pledge to: • Know and understand the CCS “No Bullying” Policy. • Show positive behavior and be sensitive to others. • Treat all students, teachers, and staff members with respect. • Not bully my peers or join in when others do. • Not participate in cyberbullying. • Talk with my parents about my feelings about school work, friendships, and classmates. • Tell my parents or teachers if any bullying has occurred.
STONE #2: ATTITUDE • Ephesians 4:31-32 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
STONE #3: COMMUNICATION • Here is where it becomes tangible! • Eventually, our lack of discipline will appear through our words.

STONE #5: HUMILITY • Definition – The quality of being modest or respectful. A modest or low view of one’s importance. • *Video – Pride & Humility
STONE #5: HUMILITY • James 4:10 • “Humble yourselves before the Lord and • He will lift you up.” • Humility before the Lord puts you in the mindset to put others before yourself!
STONE #5: HUMILITY • Psalm 25:8-10 • “Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. • He guides the humble in what is rightand teaches them his way. • All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.”
STONE #5: HUMILITY • As we place ourselves at the foot of the cross, life comes into focus. • Humbling ourselves in light of His self-sacrificial love, we begin to understand ourselves as men and women who have been forgiven. We realize the cost and depth of God's mercy and grace. • Cross-birthed humility is the starting place for Jesus-like servanthood!
STONE #5: HUMILITY • You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.—Colossians 2:13- 14 (NLT)
STONE #5: HUMILITY Do you realize that you are a living Disciple? Do you realize you are living the great commission? Whose needs come first? Are you a good listener or do you know it all? Are you a good classmate?
