  2. People think that a dog is a man’s best friend.

  3. Why? • Labs are the most popular dog breed. • Labs are the most most common house pet. • They are kind and gentle around kids and like to do thinks that people like to do.

  4. Why Labrador Retrievers? The Labrador is the most popular breed of dog in the world and most popular breed in the United States. dog has always been the animal commonly known as a house pet.

  5. Why A Dog? A dog has always been the animal commonly known as a house pet.

  6. They are often used to hunt both upland birds and waterfowl.

  7. Why Are They Called Retrievers? The dogs, were eager to retrieve things. That, made them useful for hunting and sporting dogs.

  8. How Hard Do They Work? Is is said that they will break ice to retrieve birds and return them. Then, they wait for the next bird to come down.

  9. What One Is For Me? Labrador Retrievers come in 3 colors. There are black, yellow and brown (known as chocolate.)  Black is the most common color. The colors of the original dogs were chocolate and yellow.

  10. Labrador Retrievers are fairly large. The average weight of a male is between 64 to 90 pounds and females are 55 to 71 pounds.

  11. So as you have read above, dogs will always love you and be your mans best friend. There are plenty of labrador retrievers for you, in plenty of colors and personalities.
