Westmont Summer Camp is a sleep away camp located in Pennsylvania. • It emphasizes on individual achievement and personal growth and development. • During the Summer, Campers spend 8 weeks participating in outdoor activities. • The campers are between the ages of 6 and 16 years old. • There are about 400 to 500 campers who attend this camp.

  5. Matthew’s position in this camp

  6. He was in charge of a cabin of about 10 kids. • He was in charge of ensuring a fun and enjoyable time at the camp. • He was responsible for taking campers with or who developed medical issues to the medical office.

  7. What is Problem at this Camp?

  8. A big problem was how to handle their medical data… • All the medical records and data were in a paper-based form. • The data was not organized at all. • The camp managed the data manually.

  9. How does this Problem Affect their Business?

  10. It decreases work-efficiency by finding the specific data in bunch of paper-based data. • It decreases the accuracy of data because of legibility issues • It creates garbage and wastes time when updating system.

  12. It will help to keep the medical information more organized. • The information will be timely. • Information will be more accessible. • It will be much easier to update medical file system. • Overall, it will increase the efficiency and accuracy. • It will improve the work environment.
