  2. Supply Management Online Main Menu Supply Management Online offers an easy to use menu. All the menu options can be found on your left and information regarding our programs and services can be found in the lower center of the screen.

  4. Supply Management Online What can Budget Maintenance do for me? • Identify over-budget conditions during order placement • Set spending limits by cost center, general ledger code and product

  5. Supply Management Online How does it work? • When an order exceeds a pre-established budget level, a conditions page is generated alerting the purchaser to an over budget situation prior to order transmission • An email alert is created and sent to the cost center manager identifying the order that exceeded the budget level and outlining the financial variance • Management reports are also available to identify variances by cost center, providing purchasing managers with a tool to monitor over-budget situations and adjust the business processes accordingly

  6. Supply Management Online Budget Budget Maintenance allows you to set up locations and reference numbers and attach this information to the products you wish to track for budget purposes. Create budgets for each location and/or reference number and set threshold alerts to appear during order entry.

  7. Supply Management Online Budget Using locations in your budget setup is optional – it allows you to track items by both location and general ledger code.

  8. Supply Management Online Budget Create your reference numbers (general ledger codes). Once these numbers are setup in the system – you can assign them to the products you wish to track using the Budget program.

  9. Supply Management Online Budget Assign reference numbers to the products you want to track. Assign the location codes also if applicable.

  10. Supply Management Online Budget In the Budget Dollars / Alerts section – you can setup your thresholds, the default email address for budget alert notifications, and set your budget dollars.

  11. Supply Management Online Budget Alert Thresholds are used during order entry to notify the user if they are close to or exceeding their budget dollars. Set the budget amounts by month – these can be adjusted at any time.

  12. Supply Management Online Budget This is the Budget Alert Page that displays during order entry. If an item has been ordered that exceeds the thresholds set in Budget Maintenance - the user will be warned about the overage and a management email notification can be sent.

  13. Supply Management Online Budget Journal Entry is another important part of the budget package – this feature allows you to add entries against your budget from other sources. Add purchases or credits from other vendors and they will be tracked with your other budget related purchases / credits.
