  3. The High Lands CommunityLocation Just 250 miles southeast of Bangkok, Thailand in the Adaman Sea. Coordinates 7° 40′ 44″ N, 98° 45′ 54″ E. Total size is just over 28 square miles.

  7. The High Lands CommunityGovernment Direct Democracy - classically termed pure democracy, comprises a form of democracy and theory of civics wherein sovereignty is lodged in the assembly of all citizens who choose to participate.

  8. The High Lands CommunityLaws • No mechanical weapons allowed on the island • No use of the harvest for profit will be allowed • No one community member will have more political power than another • Ultimate punishment for any community member will be exile from the island

The High Lands CommunityLeader Hannah Barnett Hannah was chosen the leader of her group by the other members.  The reason Hannah was chosen is due to her leadership abilities, her ability to motivate people to do what is necessary to help each person appreciate and respect the other.  She's always honest and tells it like it is even if it may hurt your feelings.  She does what she says she will do and it will be done in a timely manor.  She is consistent, isn't afraid to take risks, and has a funny and comical since of humor. 

  10. The High Lands CommunityPlant and Animal Life Here on the Island we have all the natural resources one would need to sustain a healthy and happy life; food, water and recreation! We even provide for a profitable income for all our community members through the sale of a very high grade of marijuana used in the curing cancer.

  11. The High Lands CommunityClimatic and Geographical Features The climate and geography of this very unique island makes it the perfect spot to spend the rest of your life. Perfect weather year round and a mountain range that not only provides for protection from ocean storms, but also for protection of our large fresh water pool.

  12. The High Lands CommunityFamilies It takes a village to raise a child and on the Island we share all child rearing responsibilities equally. Even after a hard day of farming!

  13. The High Lands CommunityEducation Education on the island is kept simple and to a minimum. Basic reading, writing and math are taught to each community member at no charge. In addition, agricultural classes our taught continuously throughout the lifetime of each member. This way we are to insure consistent yields on each and every harvest.

  14. The High Lands CommunityReligion All religions are tolerated and exist in harmony; atheism is not permitted since, if a man does not fear a god of some kind, he will commit evil acts and weaken the community.

  17. The High Land CommunityEmployment/Wealth Distribution Marijuana We’re farmers, and we love to farm crops with high profit potential! Crops from the 5.2 acre farm are harvested three times per year and all proceeds are divided up equally among the community members.

  18. The High Lands CommunityInter Community Relations • We communicate with other people by wonderful tropical birds called Australian Rainbow Lorikeets. These birds carry important messages that would take to long on foot.

Sales of our popular export commodity have risen yet again, this past harvest was our best yet. With the popularity of our crop growing each day as a result of its recent discovery as a cure for cancer, hopes are high for continued growth. Intramural Volleyball Game Today at Noon!!!

  23. The High Lands CommunityCrime and Punishment On the Island we have no law enforcement or civil defenses. Any community member is free to at any time bring another community member before the entire community if they feel an injustice has been done to them. After being presented with the evidence the body of members will individually vote as to the outcome of the charges and to any punitive damages. Exile from the Island is the most severe punishment allowed.

The High Lands CommunitySurvival of the Fittest With proceeds from harvest sales, community members are encouraged to invest their earnings in a tax free shelter with the First Bank of the Caymans. This way they will have the means to provide for their own senior care on the mainland. Community members are not allowed to stay on the island if they are incapable for caring for themselves or have no one to provide for them.
