Aim of session • “We would like the session to give us an insight into the area in order that we can sell, market and talk knowledgeably about it. • So, we’d like to know; • What is the area what provision you have – FT/PT UG/PG DL etc • I think it’s vital to tell us what Information Systems is. • What are your industry links/accreditations • Placements Opportunities • What do students go on to do, what types of jobs/careers • Facilities/Equipment”
Robin stressed that… • “In addition to the courses themselves it is important to make it clear what our collaborative links are for the subject in terms of partners, franchises etc. as well as industry links, placements information, graduate destinations, accreditations; (as well as anything else you feel would be important). This will help all of those involved to have a better understanding of our provision when representing the University at events as well as helping to shape our marketing activity.”
