  4. P-CSCF gets the user identity information of service level, e.g. IMS-IMPU as a user-id in IMS domain. PCRF gets the user identity information of access network from PDSN, e.g. a user-id in access domain. The user-id in IMS domain may differ from the user-id in access domain. Especially, the operators of IMS and access network are not same. Question

AF is only aware of flow-id, and determines which flow to be open or closed. PCRF directs AGW which gate should be open or closed. AF should be able to associate gate-id with flow-id . associate gate-id with flow-id

  8. Can IP 5 elements(source and destination IP address + port, transport protocol or application protocol) replace gate-id? Gate-id is necessary?
