  17. AN AUDACIOUS ENTREPRENEURIAL VOYAGE Initially, the company started its business with random products, which brought them small profits. But post- 1993, they came across a Swiss Trading firm, Louis Drey- fus (dealing in Coffee), which was looking for associates and partners in Bangalore his product into the market. The market had no competi- tion, in herbal products for homecare segment. This op- portunity was grasped by the founder and with exclusive technology from CIMAP, they developed “JUSTSPRAY” the brand’s herbal mosquito repellent spray launched in July 2011 - 2012. After representing them for 14 years, they wanted to es- tablish themselves in India and as a result, they lost the agency in 2008 . The founder wanted to start his own manufacturing unit but was in a dearth condition. 99% of the revenue that came from the Coffee business was vanquished due to the detachment from the agency. However, after 6 months, in Dec 2011 the company in- curred yet another huge loss. Their herbal repellent stopped working! The company found that the aromatic oils were adultered by suppliers after 4th batch of its sup- ply. Further, they noticed a leakage in the spray pumps. As such, they had to take back their products. This made the founder dejected and nervous as he was unable to find the direction, to continue his entrepreneurship. But the sheer dedication and strong will empowered him to push ahead. The brand tied knots with CSIR-IIIM Jammu to do quali- ty control of their aromatic oils and crafted relations with reputed vendors in North India. Strategi relaunched its product in 2013, correcting their mistakes and finally built a successful market for the product. Following this accom- plishment, the company conceived 48 more products in the following years. The company has instilled a core phi- losophy to assure that all their products are 100% natural. A TRUSTWORTHY NAME IN THE HERBAL HOMECARE SPACE Following in the year 2008, Mr Thomas suffered an upper respiratory infection and a severe Asthma attack.
