What about Norristown? • Norristown is a Municipality of Montgomery county and is 6 miles outside the city limits of Philadelphia. • As of 2010, the population was 34,324, according to the U.S. census. • Norristown is a town that is growing constantly and has many things going for it, such as fine cuisine, entertainment, and a rich history.

Shopping in Norristown • Norristown is closely located near two major malls. One being the Plymouth Meeting Mall and the other is King of Prussia Plaza, one of the biggest malls in the country. • So if you’re into shopping, Norristown is the place for you being only a couple minutes away from both malls. King of Prussia Plaza
Norristown Area High School • Norristown Area High School is the high school I attended. It enrolls over 2000 students at a time and is very diverse with a proud tradition. • I really became who I am now over the course of my 4 years there. My biggest accolade, Mr. Norristown 2008.
Norristown Farm Park • The Farm Park is a keystone landmark of Norristown. It is located just outside the high school. The Farm Park is a working farm and offers a variety of things like biking, hiking, running, and picnicking. It also has baseball fields and occasionally holds concerts.
The Zep: The Sandwich of Norristown • The Zep is the celebrity sandwich of Norristown. It contains salami, provolone cheese, tomato, onion, oregano, oil, and hot peppers on a roll. This is not a Hoagie and should not be confused as one. • It is my favorite sandwich, you can get one all over Norristown. The best one’s are made at Lou’s.
The Zep • The Zep is so good, it deserves 2 slides dedicated to it’s deliciousness.
Come Visit • This brings me to the end of my presentation. Norristown is rich in culture, with many things to see, do and eat. Norristown is where I became myself, and met the wonderful people involved in my life, but most importantly, it’s home. Norristown is a great place, if you have never been, you should visit in the future, you won’t regret it.
