  7. The Cadastral procedure Cadastral activities are governed by the land code and cadastal procedure acts as the real property formation act and joint facilities act. Examples of activities: • Subdivision • Reallotment • Creation of utility easement • Creation of joint facilities

Land Administration in a socio-economic development context • United Nations Economic Commission for Europe • Working Party on Land Administration • Land is one of the most valuable assets and an important base for the development of the wealth of a nation • Good land administration is essential for the development of an effective land market and a secure financial sector and will provide a basis for land management and land taxation • To unlock that wealth a nation must develop a framework of land and property laws, effective public institutions, secured procedures and an effective information system
